Objective stress measurement using HRV analysis* and

therapy using SOE

(singlet oxygen energy, for example with ACTIVE AIR®)

HRV analysis

(*Heart rate variability = measurement of fluctuations in heart rate, meaning the differing time intervals between heartbeats)

using VICARDIO is a scientifically recognised, complex yet relatively quick (7 minutes), objective examination of the stress burden on the autonomic nervous system (ANS) and the heart's electrical conduction.

HRV is thus a measure of the organism's general ability to adapt

to external and internal stimuli.

Measurement is performed while seated, or lying down if necessary.

Evaluation takes place on a computer, with VICARDIO calculating the so-called ElectroCardioPortrait (ECP = heart portrait), then both visualising electrical conduction through HRV in a

3D animation and assessing the stress burden through heart-rate analysis in 3D.

While the ECP converts the ECG recording into a coloured image (see illustration), HRV, as a measure of neurovegetative activity and the heart's autonomic function, describes, first, whether there is optimal interplay between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems and,

second, whether the heart has the ability continuously to alter the interval from one heartbeat to the next (RR interval),

in order to adapt to external and internal demands according to the load.

The ANS controls and regulates essential basic functions such as breathing, the immune and hormonal systems, the digestive and

cardiovascular systems, as well as metabolism.

The body achieves good HRV when a balance exists between the sympathetic and parasympathetic systems (sympathetic system = the car's accelerator is pressed; parasympathetic system = the brake is mechanically sound and used responsibly).

If this balance is absent and dysregulation exists,

as in stress through to burnout syndrome,

this can be diagnosed and evaluated immediately.

HRV analysis is also indicated in diabetes,

since this metabolic disease involves disturbed regulation of blood sugar levels.

The activation and inhibition of insulin production, and the body's utilisation of insulin, are no longer balanced: the regulatory capacity of the sympathetic and parasympathetic systems is disturbed.

For the complicated processes involved in diabetes to proceed without disturbance,

however, optimal control and regulatory capacity

of the ANS is of the utmost importance.

In diabetic autonomic neuropathy and other secondary conditions, ANS dysfunction can be detected and documented through HRV measurement. It is therefore sensible and advisable to have a function test at least 1–2 times a year to identify ANS disturbances early. Despite satisfactory blood sugar control, HRV measurements showed that over 60% of patients nevertheless had nerve-function disorders.

The VICARDIO programme's so-called spectral analysis shows deviations from normal values in colour on the printout.

Everyone knows situations in which the heart seems to pound noticeably or even “race.” This is a normal “adaptive response” and should be regarded as a sign of health.

One becomes ill only when the heart can no longer adapt “flexibly” or variably to stress, for example when it

no longer pumps sufficiently while climbing stairs or

races uncontrollably in relaxed situations.

If HRV is restricted, we as human beings therefore “function” only within a narrow range and are quickly overwhelmed by greater demands and “life's fluctuations.”

The body also experiences this as stress, that is,

as a mismatch between current demands and

the available means of coping.

With restricted HRV, serious health disorders develop sooner or later, such as heart disease, depression, diabetic neuropathies and even cancer. When the diseases improve, HRV also improves, and vice versa.

Alongside endurance exercise, medications and psychotherapy—including energetic psychotherapies such as A. Rossaint's causal-field therapy—SOE (singlet oxygen energy, for example with ACTIVE AIR®) also improves HRV and thus the organism's regulatory capacity, because after SOE therapy, above all,

the higher-order ANS can control and regulate better,

so that the subordinate systems

(respiration, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, metabolism, hormonal and immune systems), according to Hoff's wheel model,

function better again

and stress is removed from the system.

SOE, for example in the form of ACTIVE AIR®, is therefore indicated in all diseases involving

functional and regulatory disturbances of the ANS, such as:

ADHD, asthma, high blood pressure, burnout syndrome, chronic fatigue syndrome, diabetes, dementia, fibromyalgia,

cardiovascular diseases (circulatory disorders),

concentration disorders, macular degeneration, MS, Parkinson's disease, rheumatism, sleep disorders (sleep apnoea), metabolic diseases,

stress-related illnesses, tinnitus, etc.

ACTIVE AIR® technology therefore provides an

application that can be used for all

chronic and acute stress-related illnesses and

for prevention.

The inhalation therapy works as follows: ambient air enters the Active Air device, where it is cleaned and simultaneously humidified. Photodynamic processes occur in the five activation chambers, similar to photosynthesis—energy transfer.

Energy transfer is achieved by stimulating photosensitive substances (catalysts) with a specific wavelength of light.

The so-called relaxation energy continuously released during this process is absorbed by water molecules in the air's moisture and transported into the body through a nasal cannula.

Cells can decode this information and use it immediately.

ACTIVE AIR® therefore does not force reactions by supplying substances, but improves the regulatory capacity of the body's highest control and regulation centre.

ACTIVE AIR® also improves cells' protective function against free radicals by causing the body itself to produce more of its own protective enzymes, without introducing foreign substances.

Possible positive initial reactions include:

- Easier and improved inhalation and exhalation (COPD, asthma)

- Improved blood pressure (hypertension, hypotension)

- Better circulation (arteriosclerosis, circulatory disorders)

- Less pain (headaches, migraine, rheumatism)

- Improved ability to fall asleep and stay asleep (sleep disorders, apnoea)

- Improved blood sugar levels (diabetes I + II)

- Improved vision (fewer dioptres, macular degeneration)

- Better concentration (ADHD)

- Faster recovery after exertion (psychosomatic stress)

- More physical and mental energy (burnout, fibromyalgia)

- Greater mobility with movement restrictions (MS, Parkinson's disease)

- Improved performance (endurance, explosive strength)

Initial reactions may also occur that are unpleasant at first, such as a runny nose, skin blemishes or increased tiredness.

These are always biologically meaningful when they occur initially,

even if we do not understand them at first glance.

Improved regulation, and therefore energy production, stimulates elimination of increased amounts of toxins and relaxation (parasympathetic activity increases).

This toxin-elimination process can be intensified by additionally using the BODY-DETOX method (see separate sheet).

SOE, for example ACTIVE AIR®, can be combined with other naturopathic and/or conventional medical methods.

Besides supplying energy,

ACTIVE AIR® secondly uses the entire

colour spectrum in the sense of an integrated coloured-light therapy.

Thirdly, aromatic oils or blends complement and support

the therapy, likewise supplied through the ACTIVE AIR® device. Recommendations for use:

20–30 minutes per session; as a course, 2–4 times a week, approximately 10–30 sessions.

Who, then, should have their HRV measured and, if necessary,

have their higher-order regulatory system improved with the relaxation energy of SOE, for example ACTIVE AIR®?

People

- with physical and psychological stress

- with burnout syndrome and chronic fatigue (CMS, CFS)

- with chronic diseases

- with sleep disorders

- with allergies

- with chronic pain

- who are significantly overweight

- with heart disease and circulatory disorders

- before and after surgical procedures

- before and after a heart attack or stroke

- before, during and after chemotherapy

- who want preventive care

- who want to improve their performance in competitive sport
